Blueberry Hand Pies: ABC

It has been way too long since I have baked along with the Avid Bakers!!  I have missed the last 2 challenges and didn't want to miss another.  These hand pies were worth the effort!  The crust is delicious and so flaky, the blueberries were not too sweet and one tablespoon was a perfect amount of filling for each. I give this recipe two thumbs up!!

They were so easy to make and honestly, I don't think there will be any left over by the end of the day.

You can get the recipe at the King Arthur Flour website....just click here.
You can see what the other wonderful bakers did here.

Next month it is Braided Lemon Bread.  How good does that sound!

Until Then,

  1. hello Cherry I thought I would stop in and see yours/they look cute and small and the color is nice too all so the stars thing must been but they look great..

  2. They look beautiful -- mouthwatering! Good job!

  3. These look so beautiful! I love the stars. I took mine to work and they were gone immediately!

  4. Your patries have a star and they deserve it too, they're looking just delicious.

  5. They look lovely!! Almost like mine...great minds bake alike?

  6. Right, Virginia! Mine look almost the same, except that I made extra cookies from the cut out stars.
    Great bake, Chelly!

  7. Lovely! Looks like these pies have the thumbs up from everyone! Love it!

  8. I do hope this recipe is really easy to make because I love to base like this at home. I admit baking is not my forte, but I always love to try it even if I made many mishaps in the kitchen already. I believe you can help me with this as well.
